Traditional Rice Krispie Treats get a festive update in this Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treat Recipe in an easy cookie recipe for kids.

It calls for just 4 ingredients (crispy rice cereal, marshmallows, butter, and food coloring) in different proportions for each of three layers. You make each layer one at a time and press it into the pan in succession.

The treats are so simple that kids need just a bit of supervision in order to make them for their holiday parties. They’ll love the sticky mess on their fingers when they’re done! (And you won't have to wash yours.)

Prep time: 20-30 minutes
Set time: 20-30 minutes (if that!)
Makes 16 wedges
