Christmas Magic Cookie Bars are a variation of the classic one-pan
bar cookie, first debuted in the 1960s and have been immensely popular ever
This easy Christmas cookie recipe is stacked in layers,
first with a graham cracker crust followed by chocolate chips, nuts, and
coconut drenched in sweetened condensed milk. Colored holiday sprinkles give
the surface a festive look.
The recipe is made in layers in one pan, requiring little
mixing. Even the margarine (or butter) for the crust is melted in the baking
pan and combined with the graham cracker crumbs, rather than combined in an
extra bowl, saving clean up.

Directions for Christmas Magic Cookie Bars
- Preheat oven to 350º F (325º F for a glass dish).

Layer remaining chocolate chips over sweetened condensed milk surface. Scatter
holiday sprinkles over the bars. Use the back of a large spoon to lightly press down
chocolate chips and sprinkles into the cookie surface.
